As billionaire tech titans turn space into their playground, the rest of us are getting left in the dust. Meanwhile, Earth’s skies fill with debris and the stratosphere is scorched by rockets. The latest edition of New Internationalist magazine examines the privatisation and militarization of space, what’s at stake for people and the planet, and plots a better way forwards.

Please join co-editor Nick Dowson at our special launch event in Newcastle (UK) to celebrate the new edition. We'll hear from researcher Peter Howson, astronomer and activist Lucian Walkowicz and other speakers, followed by a Q&A.
